OUR VISION
We strive to provide a helping hand to residents of Georgetown County who are dealing with temporary hardships or longterm struggles with basic needs. Our goal is to assistance our clients with resources and tools needed to build permanent solutions for a stable and self sufficiant futures.
OUR HISTORY
Daughters of Charity came to St. Cyprian in 1993. A hope was to meet material need as well as spiritual need. A Clothes Closet opened. Donated clothes, food and financial aid were offered each week. In July 2001, a building was rehabbed by volunteers to provide a more spacious Outreach Center. Services reached out to all in Georgetown. The Center now works with others to meet these needs. We also facilitate the, "Getting Ahead in a just Getting by World" program. This programs is for residents wishing to make changes in their lives and/or their community.
