ST. CYPRIAN OUTREACH CENTER
St. Cyprian Outreach Center is a Catholic Christian presence in an economically deprived area serving all persons. We are advocates for a compassionate and just society through our actions and words. We are committed to assisting children and families who are poor and vulnerable to enhance their life style. Our goal is to respect the dignity and serve the basic human needs of those in Georgetown City and County.

UTILITY ASSISTANCE
We assist residents from Georgetown County with first time request for Utility payment. Clients must have the original bill, picture ID for all household members, proof of income, and proof of payment. The residents are responsible for a portion of the bill. Through the Utility assistance fund, we can help with the remaining balance.

RENTAL ASSISTANCE
We assist residents in Georgetown County with first time request for rental assistance. Items we need are lease agreement, picture ID for all members of household, paycheck stubs (2 weeks), and your portion of the rent. Rent can only be passed due bills. We do not assist with security deposits.

GETTING AHEAD
WORKSHOP
Getting Ahead in a Just Getting-By World" is an incredible 16-session program that encourages participants to build resources and create a plan for getting out of poverty and "Getting Ahead."

Through activities and group discussions, participants investigate:

Hidden rules we all need to know

Resources to improve life situations

Strategies for writing a future story

EMERGENCY
FOOD PANTRY
We assist residents from Georgetown County with emergency food due to fire, natural disaster, homelessness, or in special circumstances. We make available a list of food pantries near us in the community.

Hours are:
Monday: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m
Tuesday: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m
Thursday: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m
Friday: closed​

(Walk-ins - must register with case manager

Senior Food Boxes
A monthy program in cooperation with The Low Country Food Bank and US Department of Agriculture which provides food items to qualifying Georgetown County Senior Citizens.

Recipients must be 60 years of age or older, meet income eligibility requirements as set by the USDA and apply in advance. Applications are accepted on Tuesdays from 10am-2pm at The Outreach Center. Food box availablility is determined by the Low Country Food Bank.
